 Horse Testimonials

A Testimonial From Ebony Tucker

"My horse had a sore back for quite some time before he was given to me - I went to many "back" specialists who seem to think it was tissue damage from Racing... after spending hundreds of dollars in "treatments" with no results I decided to get his back x-rayed. The x-rays showed that he had "Kissing Spine".

"The horse then had intensive shock wave therapy which seemed to help but was not 100% better. At the end of the rope and bottom of the money pit I rang Keith Phillips at Animal Magnetism Australia who was very helpful"

"Since purchasing the rug my horse has NEVER had any soreness. After 4 weeks with the rug I decided to go for broke and really "tested" the horse to see how he would stand up to the heaver work load - jumping and galloping etc - he pulled through with flying colours (in some cases pulled up better the next day!) - he now only wears it pre and post competition. If i had the money i would have every horse wearing one!!!"

A Horse Owner's Testimonial

"I purchased a magnetic rug for my elderly horse Benson approx 5 weeks ago and have seen absolutely amazing results. Benson is 30 years old and has been my loving horse for the past 19 years, we have enjoyed many years riding together. I had to retire Benson approx 18 months ago due to a fused disk in his neck which was putting pressure on his spinal cord".

"Benson's condition seemed to deteriorate very rapidly and he became very stiff, sore and life for him was miserable, even walking became hard. (I am unsure as to whether the fused disk has anything to do with the onset of arthritis but I assumed it has). I was very upset as the vet said there was not much more we could do. Benson was on and off pain killers for a while until I found the magnetic rug".

A Testimonial to Animal Magnetism Australia

"After reading about the rug on my way to my holiday in Alice Springs I ordered one and had it sent home. I couldn't believe it when I phoned home to see how Benson was going and his carer told me he was no longer on the pain killers and the rug was working wonders (I must say I was a bit sceptical). I returned home some weeks later to find a new horse, my old happy horse had returned, it was a miracle. Benson is now happy again and can be seen trotting around the paddock, he is still stiff but the results are amazing. He has even been seen cantering which is something he hasn't done in a long time. Needless to say I am very happy with the rug and am praying that it continues to work".

OLIVER KOOLMAN - Sydney Metropolitan Trainer

"Dr. Keith Phillips is a regular around my Rosehill stables and for good reason. His chiropractic work has proven how extremely beneficial it is, and his veterinary diagnosis and treatment skills are second to none".

"The use of magnetic products in addition to this treatment has produced mind boggling results. One of the stable's most genuine performers (Patch Adams) suffered a severe setback and the success derived from magnetic therapy was quite amazing"

PATCH ADAMS - Winning Return (Newcastle)

PATCH ADAMS (5yo Gelding By Danasinga)

Successful Sydney galloper "Patch Adams" returned to the winners circle at only his second start back following a severe tear of his Superficial Digital Flexor Tendon. Patch Adams was given little chance of a full recovery to racing without a lengthy spell and became a major success story for Dr. Keith Phillips and Animal Magnetism Australia, with the therapeutic effects of magnetic treatment.

FURTHER TESTAMENT TO ANIMAL MAGNETISM

"Keith, we received your rug about a month ago now I guess and Lucy aka "Bella Express" has been wearing it ever since. After 23 starts with 18 places in 2nd, 3rd, & 4th position (always a bridesmaid never a bride!) Bella Express won on the weekend at Horsham in a time of 2.01.5 - (which for a maiden class horse (CO) in the pacing world is not a bad time). All the connections were over the moon. She recovered the next day without missing a beat - eating all her feed, kicking and bucking when let out into the paddock - must have been the rug!"

JO LANE - Melbourne

TESTAMENT FROM A HORSE AND DOG OWNER

"I would like to tell you how impressed I am with your products.
I have been using the magnetic dogbed now for some months and almost immediately I noticed a great improvement in the arthritis in my labrador.I am certain the magnetics have helped her and I have recommended your product to other friends. It is wonderful. I am now using the bellboot for my dressage warmblood who has a delicate hoof and so far this also seems to have improved.I am very impressed with the customer service you offer as any dealings I have had with you have been most satisfactory and in fact you go out of your way to be helpful.

"Many many thanks and I wish you well and much success in your future business".

Karen Gow (BVSc, MRCVS)

I would like to thank you for the hock boot I purchased from you in December. My horse'shock had been swollen for 3-4 months (non-lame) but various methods had refused to move the swelling. Within a few days of using the boot the swelling started shifting and within 1 - 2 weeks was back to normal. He is now out on the hunt field twice a week and we have had no further problems.

AGAINST ALL ODDS

My registered stock horse brood mare CHARM who is 18 years of age (and who is part of the family), some 4 years ago foundered, the founder was so intense she developed abscesses inside her 2 front hooves of which caused major damage to the pedal bone. CHARM could hardly walk and spent most of her time lying flat out for a couple of years this was very distressing to say the least. CHARM was constantly on medication and having x-rays done costing thousands of dollars in Vet bills.

The pedal bone has shrunk quite a bit and quite damaged because of the infection. I was told 2 years ago by professional advice don't waste your money any more.

I wanted to get her in foal and was told she would not even come into season let alone carry a foal. But because I am a very determined individual I would not listen to anyone, all I know is I love my mare CHARM, even if I have to attend to her once or twice a day 12 months of the year. This is no exaggeration, you can ask my husband he will tell you.

My love for CHARM and my dedication is like no-one could imagine.

Then CHARM came into season, on her own no Pg's or anything else to help her cycle. She cycled naturally, so I thought well we will give it ago. We have our own Stock Horse Stallion "Yarrawa Cool Gunsmoke", so we served CHARM and she went in foal from that first service. CHARM got worse with her walking because she went in foal and so I desperately wanted her to carry her foal to term. I was constantly searching for help, a cure or something.

Then I read in the stock horse magazine about ANIMAL MAGNETISM. I made a phone call to find out more about ANIMAL MAGNETISM and spoke to Dr Keith Phillips who was fantastic to speak to and didn't mind at all just talking about my mare CHARM, even if I may have been boring him silly.

Keith suggested tendon boots of which I immediately ordered one to see what it would do, at this stage CHARM was always lying flat out and appeared to be getting worse. Within 1 week of CHARM wearing the boot she started to improve, CHARM didn't appear to lie down as much and was looking happier and so was I. One hoof had always been a lot worse than the other, so of course that is the leg we started on. Within a month CHARM was walking very well. After a few months of wearing the boot my husband said he could not see how the boot was the reason she was so much improved. So I took the boot off for a couple of days CHARM started to lie down and get sore stressed again. That was all the proof I needed, I put the boot back on and it took a couple of days to kick in again and CHARM started to walk again. I also purchased another boot for the other leg.

I am delighted to tell you that in October this year CHARM produced a very beautiful black filly foal I named "Kilburns Miracle Charm", of whom would not be here without the help of ANIMAL MAGNETISM boots. CHARM is a beautiful mum and I am absolutely ecstatic.

NAVICULAR DISEASE

I received my magnetic bellboots in the mail on Friday and put them on Buck (24yo navicular affected best friend) straight away.  It is now Monday, and tonight, instead of hobbling up with his proppy old trot and occassional proppy canter, he galloped (yes galloped) up for dinner adding several pigroots along the way (someone is feeling good!) then proceeded with head held high in a semi-normal trot (he has arthritis in his right knee which makes him slightly lame every now and then). I cannot believe that the boots have worked so well and so quickly - it is the only change I have made for him within the last few months - so I no it is not coincidence. I am writing to thank you very much for helping my mate and wanted to find out how close you were to finishing a knee wrap?

PERSONAL ACCLAIM

Keith has successfully used magnetic treatment on Tendon injuries, with one horse winning in his second race back, ten months after sustaining a 15cm tear of Superficial Digital Flexor Tendon. Shinsore horses have also recovered and continued on in their preparation to win races after the stable vets had decided on a six week spell!

Wounds:- Keith has had 2 spectacular successes with wounds on horses. One was a pony with an open wound involving the coffin joint low on the pastern and through the coronet. The horse was incredibly lame as an infection in that joint is expected to be. At the time Keith was called in, the wound had existed for numerous weeks. Keith was successful in having the wound granulating within 3 days & healed within 2 weeks with no long-term complications, with a combination of antibiotics, wound management, and the application of magnets.

The second notable wound response was for an open tendon sheath injury at the back of the pastern. At the time Keith was called in for a second opinion, there was a granulating mess with synovial fluid still leaking through. Keith managed the wound with excision of excess granulation tissue, and bandaging with a magnetic pad. The case was discussed with a specialist surgeon at this point who advised that the solution was to close the wound surgically & cast the leg, as the discharging fluid would prevent the wound from ever closing. Two weeks after the initial application of magnetic pads, the wound had totally healed & the horse returned to competition 4 weeks after that with no long term complications.

In these two cases the magnets were integral in encouraging the healing to occur in these tissues who would not reasonably be expected to resolve without the need for surgical intervention.
